MULTI-KLEAN – - The Powerful,
Gentle Cleaner


MULTI-KLEAN is
an excellent heavy-duty, all-purpose cleaner providing rapid grease and/or
film removal, excellent surface wetting and easy rinsability. It is an
anionic detergent which is free from strong alkaline ingredients, making
it gentle on hands.

Economical

MULTI-KLEAN’s
high concentration permits the use of up to 50% less than ordinary cleaners.
It cuts down cleaning inventory investment because it is chemically engineered
to remove stubborn oil from practically any type surface. It is uniform
and stable. Stays fresh! Doesn’t thicken! Usable down to the very last
concentrated drop!

Versatile

MULTI-KLEAN is
a powerful but gentle “giant.” It is formulated to remove stubborn soil
from practically any type surface – industrial equipment, floors, walls,
painted surfaces. Cleans all types of metal. Attacks “ink mist.” An effective
additive to steam cleaners. Keeps expensive car finishes lustrous. Cleans
whitewall tires spotless. Does a tremendous job of DEGREASING TRUCK and
CAR MOTORS and GREASY FLOORS!

Easy
To Use

Simply add MULTI-KLEAN
to
hot or cold water and it’s ready for immediate use with mop, cloth, brush
or spray. Cleans quickly. Freely rinses from all surfaces, leaving no sticky
film or residue. Dilute MULTI-KLEAN
with solvent
to remove heavy deposits of oil and grease from concrete floors or industrial
equipment.

MULTI-KLEAN contains
no solvents. It is free from noxious and toxic fumes. Contains no harsh
alkalis or acids. It is safe to use on any surface not harmed by water.
Has no abrasives to dull or scratch painted surfaces. Does an excellent
job of cleaning blackboards in schools.

MULTI-KLEAN is
authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for use in food plants
of various types. It has an even lower pH than required by Federal Specification
MIL-C-25769G!

Biodegradable

Chemically engineered MULTI-KLEAN
is
odorless – stays fresh. It is biodegradable. Many local governments require
cleaners used by industries to be biodegradable. Biodegradable
MULTI-KLEAN
won’t
contaminate rivers and streams. Treated discharged waters are harmless
to fish and wildlife, and are easily cleared up for drinking.

HAND WIPING MACHINERY
IN MACHINE SHOPS 		 Dilute 2/3 oz. MULTI-KLEAN
to a gallon of hot or cold water. Hand wipe or spray on. Wipe off.		 Effective cleaning solution
for just a few cents per gallon. Solution won’t sour if left for a long
period of time.
HAND CLEANER Mix solution of 2 parts
MULTI-KLEAN to 3 parts CLEAR WATER. Ideal for liquid wall dispensers in
rest rooms.		 Makes a fine high grade
hand cleaner. Penetrates most stubborn soils. Leaves most hands clean and
soft. Does not dry out most skin.
NEWSPAPER BUILDING

MAINTENANCE		 Mix 1 oz. of MULTI-KLEAN
to a gallon of clear water.		 Ideal cleaning solution
that readily attacks “ink mist.” Effective wall and floor cleaner. Gives
fast, economical cleaning.
STEAM CLEANING Mix 1 part of MULTI-KLEAN
to 35 or more parts of cold water. Concentration depends on stubbornness
of soiled area to be cleaned. Add more MULTI-KLEAN as needed.		 No caustics, mild scent,
safe on most types of metals. Safe for most workers. Speedy, effective,
wetting and penetrating action.
HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT

WASHING		 Pre-rinse equipment to
be cleaned. Add 1 or 2 ounces of MULTI-KLEAN to each gallon of water, depending
upon soiled condition of equipment. Use cold or warm water. Apply mixture
of MULTI-KLEAN and water to equipment. Agitate the extremely soiled areas
with a brush or swab. Allow chemical to do its work by soaking action of
five or ten minutes duration. Now rinse equipment clean.		 No harm to painted surfaces.
Dirt rinses away easily. An economical and effective cleaner. Safe to most
hands.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE

OF FLOORS, WALLS AND

PAINTED SURFACES

 Dilute 2/3 oz. MULTI-KLEAN
to a gallon of clear, clean water: (hot, warm or cold).		 An effective inexpensive
cleaning for just a few cents per gallon. Easy to use!
CONCRETE FLOORS WITH

HEAVY DEPOSITS OF OIL
AND GREASE (Driveways,

Loading Docks, Parking
Areas

and Runways)

 Mix 1 part MULTI-KLEAN
to 4 parts solvent, such as kerosene. (NOTE: Mix one gallon kerosene and
one gallon MULTI-KLEAN thoroughly. Now mix with remaining three gallons
kerosene.) This emulsion needs to be agitated occasionally. Apply to soiled
surface. Let soak. Rinse with high pressure hose. One gallon of solution
covers approximately 150 square foot area. THIS SOLUTION IS FLAMMABLE.		 Combination of strong
wetting-penetrating and emulsifying agents. Extreme rinsibility and water
hardness control. (When drain facilities are not available, excess solution
may be pushed out with rubber bladed squeegee. Area may be mopped with
clear rinse water.)
CAR WASHING Pre-rinse by hosing down
with plain water. Dilute 2 ounces of MULTI-KLEAN to 3 gallons of clear
water. Use brush or swab. Hose rinse with clear water.		 No HARM to expensive
car finish if used according to directions. Essentially free rinsing. Economical
effective cleaner. Safe to most hands.
CLEANING AND DEGREASING

INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT

(Pumps, Engines, Compressors)		 Dilute 1 part MULTI-KLEAN
with 4 parts solvent such as kerosene. (NOTE: Mix 1 gallon kerosene thoroughly
with 1 gallon MULTI-KLEAN. Now mix with the remaining three gallons kerosene.)
Spray or brush solution over entire surface to be cleaned. Let stand 5
to 15 minutes. Rinse the surface with water hose. Use air hose if available,
to blow off excess water. THIS SOLUTION IS FLAMMABLE.		 No caustics, mild scent,
safe on most metals. Speedy, effective wetting and penetration action.
Controls most lime and scale deposits. While cleaning is in process, don’t
operate equipment. Works extremely well on warm motor surfaces. Equipment
put back in use immediately after cleaning process.
LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT
FOR FABRICS SOILED WITH OIL AND GREASE		 1 or 2 ounces per gallon
in the washing equipment. Soak heavily soiled fabrics in straight MULTI-KLEAN
- then wash as usual.		 Added emulsifiers penetrate
greases and oils and make them mix with water. Safe for all normally washable
fabrics.
HAND DISHWASHING 3/4 oz. per gallon of
tap water.		 Emulsifiers and wetting
agents soak soils and lift them from pots and pans.
COTTON PICKER

WETTING AGENT		 Mix 1 pint of MULTI-KLEAN
to each 45 to 50 gallons of water.		 Helps keep “Spindle Moistener”
pads wet clear through! This helps keep spindles clean, thereby reducing
clogging of spindles and assuring improved, clean picking of cotton.
